Peppermint Chai Tea

READY IN: 13mins
Recipe by White Rose Child

This is a different sort of chai, from John Robbins' "May All Be Fed". I love that book's recipes and so am posting this even though I haven't tried it yet- it's sure to be good!

I scaled this down for 2 and drank both cups. Very nice, just the way I like it! I used loose peppermint tea and enjoyed it in the chai. Thanks! Made for the PARTY event. :)

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the water and spices.
  2. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Immediately reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the peppermint tea. Cover the pan and let steep for 3 to 5 minutes; the longer you leave it, the stronger the tea will be.
  4. Strain out the spices and tea. Serve immediately, letting each person add syrup and soy milk to their taste.
