I enjoyed all of the pepper & the slight bite from the lime. I had lime pepper on hand so was able to use it on my ribeye. I pan fried the steak to medium and the crunchy, peppery coating was excellent for this pepper lover. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
I didn't see lime pepper at the grocery store and didn't have time to go to the wholesale club to look for it, so I followed Cheri's idea of just sprinkling with lime juice. I probably should have used a little more, as I didn't really taste the lime part. I also added some garlic powder to the mix. It really came out just fabulous, and made a perfect treat for Mother's Day.
We tried this for dinner tonight. I don't have lime pepper, I sprinkled lime jc., on each side of each steak. No steak sauce required these steaks stand out by themselves. Of course we did have the (dark) beer as recommended.
