I am not a big bacon eater, but my husband likes it. I tried this. It was sweet and hot. But my husband raved about it for days. I really think he enjoyed it because he has asked me to make it again. Always the sign of a really good recipe.

Sweet and oh so good!
I served this with another 'zaar recipe (Baked Ham and Cheese Roll) Baked Ham and Cheese Omelet Roll by Karen Monahan.
But minus the ham because we had this tasty bacon instead..lol
A real hit, like homemade honey cured bacon.
Thanks for posting. =)

These were a hit! My family ate them as is but I think they would taste even better on a sandwich. Next time though I will line the pan for easier clean up:)

This is a great recipe. So easy, and so delicious. I used about 1/4 cup brown sugar for a 1-1/2 pound package of thick cut bacon. Used cracked pepper on 1/2 the pan, and left the other plain since my kids don't like pepper. This makes the best BLT (bacon lettuce tomato) sandwiches ever!

This is an excellent and different way to prepare bacon. The sweet/peppery/smoky combo is fantastic. I do cook it a bit longer, as we like bacon pretty crispy. Thanks for posting, Bergy!

Mmm....BACON! I could eat a pound in one sitting and nearly did with this recipe. I used parchment paper to line the baking sheet, omitted the brown sugar for personal preference and cooked for about 20 minutes total, turning the pan 1/2 way through. I do like my bacon well done, which will explain the picture. ;o) Thank you, Bergy!

I had some ordinary thin bacon that needed to be cooked and came across this recipe, certainly glad I did. I really liked that salt of the bacon the sweet of the sugar and particularly the fresh ground pepper. This is certainly something I will do again. The other thing I reallyliked was no measurements, put on what you like..5 stars just for that.

This was too easy. No measuring cups needed! My BF and I really enjoyed the sweet/peppery taste. It's a yummy way to jazz up bacon.
