My husband loved this, which I expected because he loves pepper. What I didn't expect is that I would love it too. Thank you for a keeper!

Delicious! Sorry to the cheese snobs, but all I had in the house was the stuff in the green can, so that's what I used. ;-) I did add about a quarter teaspoon of Splenda to give it a bit of that hint of sweet that store bought dressings have so the fam would eat it. Tasting it as I went in the bowl it seemed too "dilly," but once it's over lettuce it goes perfectly. Thanks for a great recipe!

Wonderful dressing. Instead of garlic salt, I used garlic powder. It was very yummy. Great taste with the parmesan cheese. Thanks Mom2Rose :) Made for I Recommend tag game

Delicious salad dressing! I loveee the black pepper mixed with the mayo (I used Vegenaise). Yummy. All the other additions added extra flavor layers. I'm so glad I have a jar that I can use all week! Thank you Sarah!

Mmmm, what a great salad dressing! It is so creamy, yet not too heavy and also very, very flavourful. We all loved the dill with the red wine vinegar and the little bit of heat from the chili. YUM!
I left out the Worcestershire sauce and used part yogurt for the mayonnaise, which worked out nicely.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this keeper with us, Mom2Rose!

I had family visiting and all of us enjoyed this wonderful dressing! Next time, though, I would cut down on the paprika and cut out the hot pepper sauce. I cut the recipe in half because we only use about 2 - 3 T on our salads and it would take forever to use up. There are just too many dressings for us to try! I definately would do this one again as I always have these items in my cupboards and fridge! Thanks for the posting!

Yummy dressing! Loved all the herbs. I halved the recipe easily. Thanks! Made for the French forum's Herb of the Month-March.

I also reduced the recipe down to 1/2 cup yield, replacing regular paprika with a dash of Spanish smoked paprika. This should be prepared several hours in advance for best flavor. Served as a topping for: Robyn's Fish Stick Tacos.. Made for Spice of the Month: Paprika in French Forum. thanks! This was good stuff!

This is delicious!!! I reduced the recipe way down to 1/4 cup for just two of us. I'm usually not a huge fan of creamy dressings but this was so rich and creamy with just the right amount of peppery bite! I didn't have hot sauce so I used a tiny bit of cayenne powder instead. I really have to hold myself back from eating it plain! Thanks for sharing!

Sarah, I made a batch of this dressing for dinner tonight. It is very flavorful! I was out of red wine vinegar so I subbed rice wine vinegar. The kids loved it so much that they were spooning it over the last of their noodles at dinner tonight. I'm just thankful they left me a little to top my salad with tomorrow at lunch. I will definitely make this again. Made and reviewed for the 30th AUS/NZ Recipe Swap.

Had soup and salad for lunch today - your recipe#281415 and a lovely green salad topped with your dressing. A very good dressing - can see endless combinations with this one! We are very fond of parmesan cheese - this gives us one to vary with our Caesar dressing. Had fresh dill which is an excellent addition. Added to my collection of dressings - going to have fun playing with this one! Recipenap for Auz/NZ Swap.

This made a great dressing for a tossed salad. But I cut several of the spices by about 1/3 to 1/2: the pepper, dill, and paprika. Otherwise the spices would have been too strong for our taste. With the changes I made, I would definitely make this again; thanks for sharing your recipe.

The pepper was too strong for DH, house guest, & myself, next time I would reduce it by half. I did not have garlic garlic salt so I subbed 1/2 teaspoon of mince garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of regular salt for garlic salt. Thanks for sharing. Congrats Mom2Rose for TOP (Tagged Out Player) win for Top Favorites of 2008 Game!

We really enjoyed this over a simple iceberg lettuce salad. The favors blended very well together. I left out the dill weed for personal preference, but other than that made as directed. Made for a bonus tag in the PotLuck Tag Game.

This is fabulous, what a great flavour. Like Jan I served ours potato salad style over some potatoes that I'd steamed and cooled slightly. Sprinkled with some dried, fried onions that I'd received as part of a Christmas present. I had just enough mayo in the jar so threw everything into the mayo jar and gave it a good shake. Will definitely be keeping some of this in the fridge.

I'm in love!! I made it to use over potatoes and it was excellent. The only thing I did different was to use onion flakes (which I crushed) in place of the onion powder. I took the potato salad to share with friends who loved it too.

The flavor of this was a little strong for us. I added a couple of tablespoons of sugar to help mellow the flavor.

Made for March, 2008 Aussie/NZ Swap. I served this on my turkey chef salad. It was a very good, substantial salad dressing. I really enjoyed the "kick" of the cracked pepper and the hot sauce. It's a good dressing that can be varied in many different ways. Thanks for sharing, Mom2Rose.
