    Directions:

      Beat eggs and sugar together (standing in a bowl of hot water) and beat until as light as whipped cream, taking care that the mixture does not get hotter than lukewarm.

      Add the flour sifted with all other dry ingredients.

      Stir in fruit and nuts. Knead well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on buttered sheet and bake 8 minutes in 350F oven.
