Yummy healthy kabobs! I left my beef in the marinade while the coals were heating up, which ended up being about 30 minutes. The marinade was a nice complement to both the meat and the veggies. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Very beautiful kabobs! I loved the taste of the marinade, but it didn't really penetrate the meat, and the veggies really didn't absorb it at all. Next time I'll pierce the meat and let it sit a little longer. Very quick and easy recipe...which is always a plus! Thanks for posting. Made for Photo Tag.
This is such a quick marinade to whip up,and tastes simply STUNNING!! I used strips of sirloin,and instead of skewering,I cooked it along with the pepper pieces,mushrooms etc on an indoor griddle pan. The results were fantastic...the flavours were just fabulous,and everybody loved it! This is a keeper if ever there was one...I'll be using this one again and again and again!! Thanks Diner!!
Delicious garlicky, lemony marinade which made these kebabs just SO flavoursome, and they were also so easy to prepare. I added rosemary and sage to the thyme in the marinade but omitted the hot pepper sauce as we have zero tolerance of anything hot and spicy. I omitted the zucchini and tomatoes - none on hand at the time - and used a red bell pepper. Just the mushrooms, onion and pepper pieces with the steak were a great combination and I'd be inclined to make them exactly that way next time. We enjoyed these with Irish Mashed Potatoes With Cabbage. A recipe I'll certainly make again and again. :)Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, diner524. Made for PRMR.
We absolutely loved this recipe! such a nice switch from the soy sauce based marinades! I did not add all the vegetables to the kabobs as I was serving a cucumber salad on the side. But the beef and marinade are definitely a winner and a keeper! Thanks Diner524!
