Delicious and moist! These bars melt in your mouth! Love it, make a quadruple batch, turned out amazing. ONLY, I made some brown butter CREAM CHEESE icing, instead. Turned out wonderfully. Thanks for sharing. This is a keeper.

  1. For bars:.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Cream butter.
  4. Add brown sugar, eggs, pumpkin, and vanilla; mix well.
  5. In separate bowl, sift all of dry ingredients together.
  6. Gradually add to the wet mixture and mix well.
  7. Pour into a greased 9x-inch13 pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Let cool then top with brown butter icing.
  9. Icing directions:.
  10. In a heavy bottomed pan, heat butter over low heat until it is a light brown color.
  11. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
  12. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
