- 7568.0 ml green tomatoes
- 2 lemons
- 1814.36 g brown sugar
- 907.18 g raisins or 907.18 g sultanas
- 14.79 ml salt
- 9.85 ml ground cloves
- 4.92 ml allspice
- 14.79 ml cinnamon
- 4.92 ml ground ginger
- 2.46 ml mace
- 236.59 ml vinegar
directions
- Scald and peel tomatoes.
- Put through a food chopper (or chop in a food processor) along with the lemons.
- Add sugar, raisins, salt, spices and vinegar; cook about 45 minutes over low heat, stirring frequently to prevent scorching.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
