I really enjoyed this recipe. It was very afforable and easy to make. The calories are low which is a plus. I used whole wheat penne and it was delicious. My husband added Italian sausage to his plate and he said that was really good as well if you are not concerned about the calories.

Very quick and easy - it is the perfect recipe to use if you're in a hurry and/or too exhausted to deal with several ingredients. I used frozen spinach instead of fresh. If I made the recipe again I would add chopped onion and some fresh garlic (as so many have suggested). I did add garlic powder, and it tasted fine.

This was very good for how easy it was. I did chop a medium onion and sauteed it with about 2 tsp. of minced garlic before adding the tomatoes and beans. I also added 1 tsp dried basil. I made french bread to go with this. It was an easy weeknight dinner! My husband ate it fine, but he's not a huge vegetarian meal fan, so I'd classify it as "girl food" in our home. I'm definitely keeping this recipe, because I almost always have this stuff on hand. Thanks!

This recipe was good. It is definitely very quick, easy, and affordable. The flavors were basic, and its a good vegetarian option if you are short on time.

I really liked this and so did my family. I made as written, but also added a bit of cayenne pepper. I ate mine vegetarian, but added some smoked sausage pieces for everyone else.

I really hoped to love this recipe and I hoped my kids would as well based upon others' reviews...but it was just ok. I even added minced garlic and minced onion (as others recommended to increase the flavor) and can only imagine this would have even been less flavorful without it. It truly tasted just as it was...canned beans mixed with canned tomatoes and served with pasta. The romano cheese definitely added to the flavor so if you choose to make this recipe...make sure to use the romano. UPDATE: I made this one again for an easy cooking night when my husband was out of town and I enjoyed it more tonight. So did the kids. I made sure to use lots of fresh garlic and onion and I doubled the cannelini's and used San Marzano tomatoes. I enjoyed it. Will make again when hubby is out of town.

This was super quick & my husband enjoyed it. I added onions, garlic, and fresh basil & skipped the cheese to make vegan. Thank you for a fast & healthy dinner!!
