Penne With Bacon and Mushrooms

"This recipe was given to my mum few years ago by her neighbour. Now that I'm married I do it for my husband as well and he loves it. Besides it's very easy to do it."

  • Saute onion and garlic in some olive oil until soft.
  • Add the bacon and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the fresh cream.
  • Finally add the spinach and season.
  • Toss in the cooked pasta al dente and serve.

  1. OH! That was delicious! I left out the spinach as I didn't have any, and added a few other mixed herbs, and it was really delicious. I've never had bacon in a pasta before, but it was really good. I will definitely be making this again. (Reviewed for Spring PAC 2007)
