Penne With Bacon and Mushrooms

This recipe was given to my mum few years ago by her neighbour. Now that I'm married I do it for my husband as well and he loves it. Besides it's very easy to do it.

OH! That was delicious! I left out the spinach as I didn't have any, and added a few other mixed herbs, and it was really delicious. I've never had bacon in a pasta before, but it was really good. I will definitely be making this again. (Reviewed for Spring PAC 2007)

Directions

  1. Saute onion and garlic in some olive oil until soft.
  2. Add the bacon and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the fresh cream.
  4. Finally add the spinach and season.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta al dente and serve.
