We felt that this was a nice dish for the simplicity of it, but for us it was just a tad bland. Maybe the addition of some diced seasoned chicken or something could give this dish a boost up to 5 stars. Very filling though!

Yum, this was good! I bumped up the pasta to 8 ounces, and used a bag of frozen broccoli. I thought there was plenty of sauce, even with the extra pasta. Needed a more prominent cheese flavor for me, though. I might try a sharp cheddar next time, or try shredding my own. Also used a 12 oz can of evaporated skim, and topped it off to 2 cups with some milk. Will definitely make again!

Very good mac n' cheese dish which we enjoyed! I used bow tie pasta which worked well for us. I also used 1 can evaporated milk and 1/2 cup 1% milk. Thanks for sharing!

Really nice dish! I omitted the salt (personal preference). The dish also looks like it will be very flexible in regards to adding more veggies - I'm thinking some onion and red pepper might be nice. Perhaps some chopped chicken would be a good touch too. But quite good as-is, as well. Love that it's a one dish prep! Thanks for sharing!

Yummy! I really liked this. I still can't believe that it's low fat because it was so creamy and cheesy. I used 10 ounces of rotini (sorry, no penne) and also topped up the 12 ounces of evaporated skim milk with 1/2 cup 1% milk. I thought that the garlic would be overwhelming, but it just added a nice touch of garlic flavour without the "bite". Once again lazyme - a great recipe that I will be making again. And again! Made for 1,2,3 Tag. Thanks! :)

This is a nice low-fat meal that you can make in one pot and that fact gets 10 stars in itself. I could only find Carnation Fat Free Evaporated Milk and then I used Barilla Whole Grain (51% whole wheat) Penne when I made this. Pre-cutting the broccoli and grated the cheese the day before, helped make things go faster when I finally made this last night. The canned milk is only 12 ounces so I used 1/2 cup of skim milk to take this up to the required 2 cups. Looking forward to making this again. Thank you for posting. Made for *Lazymes Cook A Thon*

This is terrific. Only 15% fat and it tastes like a lot more. It does need the addition of salt. I had thought that with the parm it might not. It's an easy dinner in a bowl that would easily be able to handle more veggies if you wanted to add them. :D
