Penina's Easy Salmon

"My niece Penina makes this for Shabbat. It's extremely quick and easy. Penina usually serves it as a first course and it is so popular we are often too full to eat the meat course."

directions

  • Line bottom of pan with sliced onions. If using peppers and or garlic add them too.
  • Place fillets on top of the vegetables.
  • Pour lemon juice over all. Add some water if desired. [The fish will release its own juices so it probably won't be too dry.].
  • Sprinkle seasonings over all.
  • Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. If the fish is frozen (not thawed) double the cooking time.
  • Garnish with lemon slices or wedges if desired.

  1. Tasted like a standard piece of salmon with spices, but still good.
