Oh yeah! These are sooo good! And not as difficult as it may sound... After a little practice I realized I didn't need flour for rolling the dough around the candy. I scooped dough with my small 1 1/4 inch cookie scoop, which was the perfect size. I didn't use any nuts, but pressed the top of the little dough balls into chocolate sprinkles. I actually got 6 dozen cookies! But there were only 56 Rolos in the package.. so I added Heath pieces to the remaining dough! Both are delicious! This is a nice dough to work with! Without the Rolo in the center, the cookies are flatter but stay chewy.

Just plain awesome cookies right here! Kids went nuts for these. The cookie jar was empty in no time! Next time I will double the recipe and there WILL be a next time! Into my favorites it goes so I don't lose it.

yes, these certainly are a cookie tray candidate - they've been on mine since i discovered them a few years ago! as another poster does, i also drizzle white chocolate over the tops of them - they look even more beautiful and inviting that way. and by personal preference, i don't add any nuts to the dough itself. slightly time-consuming for a cookie, but worth the effort! in the chaos of moving, i can't find my recipe and was so pleased to find it posted on recipezaar! thanks!

This was a winning 1990 Pillsbury Bake-Off recipe. I've been making them for almost 2 decades. They're delicious to me, but they're never the first ones to get eaten up. I still make them occasionally, though. To make them look nicer, I drizzle melted white chocolate chips over the top. Definitely make the cookies small because you want the caramel in every bite.

Goood cookies! I used walnuts instead of pecans and didn't mix any in the dough. Although slightly time consuming these cookies were easy to make. I made mine a little big and ended up with extra Rolos (not for long). These were for a cookie swap, I would make them again.

These were a definite hit in this house. I bought the mini rolos. They are a very rich cookie and the rolo adds a nice caramel centre to the cookie. The were very easy to make. The kids loved them. Thanks for the recipe.

It's a cookie...it's a candy...it's AWESOME!!!! These are to die for and it was fun to see the surprise and then delight when my guests bit into this cookie to find the chewy caramel. Everyone wanted the recipe. This is a keeper for sure, Chicagopm.
