Pecan pie tarts
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- Mix crust ingredients together and press into tart tins.
- Mix filling ingredients together and spoon into tart shells.
- Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

this recipe is awesome. it's just like the one my mom made when I was little. she'd let me make the dough because it was so simple. anyways, these are good. I use a mini muffin pan and get quite a few little delicious tarts. seriously like 100 times better than store bought.
I made these for Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure what tart tins were and bought some at Bed Bath and Beyond but I think they were bigger than the ones called for in the recipe. I only was able to make 6 tarts. I cut them in fourths though and they were a HIT. My family LOVED the crust and so did I!
