I saw this in a magazine, back in the 70's I beleive! Have never seen another recipe like it since. It is a blue ribbon recipe

Fantastic! I used all light corn syrup since I didn't have dark, and I made my own crust. This was done in just under 60 minutes for me, and got lots of compliments from my guests tonight. Made for PAC.

Directions

  1. Defrost frozen pie crust.
  2. Combine eggs and next 5 ingredients.
  3. Stir in pecans.
  4. Pour into pie shell.
  5. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes (filling will appear soft).
  6. Cool on a rack.
  7. 1 frozen deep-dish pastry shell may be substituted.
