This is my special recipe that I fix for our family's Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Karo syrup (dark)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup whole pecans
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 pie crust (store bought)
- Mix all ingredients and place in pie crust.
- Bake at 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until knife inserted is clean.
This is a good recipe but I think I will use a bottom crust next time. Thank you
