I'm not sure what I did wrong...I cooked to 240 degrees, but the white sugar did not dissolve. The final product was gritty with sugar.

  1. Combine sugars,salt and milk.
  2. Cook to soft ball stage.
  3. Add pecans and liqueur.
  4. Beat until stiff (a min. or so).
  5. Drop quickly onto wax paper.
