  • 14 cup honey
  • 1 cup butter, softened (Use either butter or margarine)
  • 12 cup pecans, chopped

directions

  • Slowly beat the honey into the butter or margarine until well blended.
  • Stir in chopped pecans.
  • Pack in gift containers and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving on biscuits, rolls, or other bread.

  1. YUM! Made this for use on baked sweet potatoes. I might add just a pinch of cinnamon!
     
  2. This spread makes an excellent addition to fresh baked bread. The butter and honey were whipped in the mixer and then the chopped pecans stirred in. Ready in a flash. The recipe was cut in half without a problem.
     
  3. As good as any gourmet spread I've tasted. With a food processor to chop the nuts and then mix the butter and honey, this spread can be put together in about 5 minutes or less. I made my spread using unsalted butter.
