  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Beat the butter, vanilla and sugar until smooth. Stir in nuts and then sifted flour.
  3. Roll into ball shaped, about 2 tsp size. Bake off in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or til lightly browned.
  4. Roll balls in icing sugar while still hot and cool on a wire rack.
