  1. Put caramels, marshmallows, and milk in top of double boiler.
  2. Place over boiling water.
  3. cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture is melted and smooth -- about 25 minutes.
  4. remove from heat and cool.
  5. stir in pecans.
  6. Whip cream and fold into creamed mixture.
  7. combine crumbs and butter.
  8. reserve 1/4 cup.
  9. press remainder into bottom of 10x6" dish.
  10. top with caramel mixture.
  11. sprinkle with crumbs.
  12. Chill several hours or overnight.
  13. cut into squares.
