    I made a better recipe out of an old favorite of the family. Please use the brand names for the ingredients, Ghirardell Cookie mix, Heath Chips, since it makes a huge difference. All of our family, friends request these cookie bars. Make sure you make two, they disappear f-a-s-t!

    • 1 (20 ounce) box chocolate chip cookie mix
    • 1 egg
    • ½ cup butter
    • ¾ cup butterscotch chips
    • ¾ cup pecans (chopped)
    • ½ cup butterscotch chips (Heath)

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Preheat oven 325 degrees. Grease bottom of 13x9x2-inch pan. Place all ingredients in large bowl. Stir together until blended and dough forms. Press dough into pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
