fruity and sweet
- 1 tortilla, white flower
- 1 pear, ripe
- 1 teaspoon butter, cold
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons apricot jam
- Preheat oven to 400*. Lightly spray tortilla and place oil-side down on baking sheet.
- Peel, core, and thinly slice pear into about 20 slices. Fan slices out to cover tortilla in a radiating pattern. Cut cold butter into 6 or 8 pieces and arrange evenly over pear slices. Sprinkle sugar and nutmeg over the top. Bake about 15 minutes, until pear is tender and sugar is bubbling.
- Stir jam to soften and spread lightly over the tart, using a pastry brush or the back of the spoon. Cut tart into wedges by pressing straight down with a knife (don’t drag knife through it). Serve warm.
I was making fish tacos - so I thought I'd try this. I used wheat tortillas & it on the non-stick foil and used grape jelly since 'someone' had eatten all the apricot jam. It was a tasty dessert for my hubby and I. Think I'll go eat my other forth now. ;-)
