- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 pears, cored and sliced thin
- 1⁄4 lb pitted dates, chopped small
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Melt butter over low heat. Add pear slices and toss to coat.
- Add dates and saute 3-5 minutes, until tender. Add water, lemon juice and honey, and stir well.
Very sweet, but lovely! Incredibly easy to do. Served with #27302 "Fresh Pear Cake".
