  • Peel, core and chop all apples and pears. (For a chunkier sauce cut fruit into large cubes. For a smoothers sauce cut fruit into small cubes.)
  • Place apples and pears in a large, heavy bottom, sauce pan. Add in water and white wine. (If you do not want to add the wine replace with water). Bring to a boil then cover and let simmer until fruit is soft (if you want or need to thicken up the sauce, let mixture boil with the lid off for awhile).
  • Once pears and apples are soft and can easily break apart add in raisins cinnamon. allspice and pumpkin spice. Stir with a fork mashing up and large chucks. For a more smooth texture blend with a hand mixer.
  • Let cool and serve.
