Fruity, sweet everyday milk drink!
Make and share this Pear and Cinnamon Milk recipe from Food.com.
- Mix all ingredients in a blender.
- Pour into a balloon shaped glass.
I loved this fruity milk shake. I love that it's low-calorie, yet plenty thick and sweet. I made one change and used 1 teaspoon honey + 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract in place of the sugars, otherwise as written. Delicious for my breakfast this morning! Thanks, Amanda! Made for PAC Fall 2008.
I doubled the recipe so I could use a whole pear (I know, I could just have eaten the other half)! Don't know how this changed the recipe's intent, but I also rounded the measure of sugar & then added 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring! Still, however it is supposed to taste, my drink was VERY ENJOYABLE! Really liked the inclusion of lemon juice & the cinnamon, too! Thanks for a very different, enjoyable drink! I enjoyed this recipe. I left out the lemon juice since I did not have fresh. Next time I will also whirl some ice in there for a thicker, slushy texture. I used the whole pear. Why not? What would I do with 1/2 pear? :-) I might try nutmeg or cardamom instead of cinnamon next time! Thanks for the inspirational recipe.
