      I make these cookies to carry along on long hikes. They are just perfect, the right amount of fiber to keep you full, protein to give you sustained energy you need and a pop of sugar for an immediate boost. Best of all they taste wonderful! My husband loves them, he really likes the banana in the cookie.! They are quick & easy to make especially for non-bakers like myself. What is there not to love!

      Hi Annz, I just love your cookies, I didn't quite know what trail mix was but I guessed it was nuts and dried fruit and seeds which I love, so I used that. If I had had some flax seeds which I didn't have, but I usually do I would of ground some down but I will make sure I have it next time It,s very good for you if you grind it down. Thank you for a great cookie recipe. Made for PAC 2010 Spring.
