Make and share this Peanut Butter Syrup recipe from Food.com.
- Combine Peanut Butter, Syrup and Water in a 3 Qt Microwaveable Container and stir till smooth.
- Microwave on High Until thick and syrupy, about 7 Minutes or so, stopping every 2 Minutes to stir.
- Pour over pancakes.
This is just what I was looking for. The right consistency, and it wasn't cloyingly sweet as I feared it might be. It was a big hit with the banana pancakes tonight. Thanks for sharing!
I assume that white syrup and corn syrup are similar enought that I could substitute them, so I did. I also used smooth peanut butter. This tastes great! Very smooth and creamy.
