Really enjoyed this cake. Cake batter turned out beautiful, I could tell just from that the cake would bake nicely. New bakers, follow the directions exactly and it's not overwhelming. Experienced bakers won't be afriad of taking the time to make sure all the ingredients are mixed properly. I only had unsalted peanut butter in the house. I would rec. salted pb cuz it'll offset the sweetness of the jam nicely (I just covered my whole cake w/ salted chopped nuts). If using no salt pb again, next time will sprinkle the chopped nuts between cake layers. Have already gotten a request to make this cake again, but with a chocolate filling. Definietly a keeper.
