I've been making these for years. I found this recipe when I discovered that marshmallows aren't vegetarian! I'm no longer vegetarian, but still love this recipe.

I liked these, as did my guests. For those of you who have a cement block instead of a treat, make sure that you dont put these in the fridge to cool! they can just set on the counter or something, but in the fridge they turn into little rocks! i really like the fact that you dont need marshmellows for this, because even tho it is a little more work, i can make them even if there are no marshmellows in the pantry

My Aunt Linda made these for us when we were kids. Now, I make them for my kids. We absolutely love them. I'm always asked to bring these to small get togethers. They never last long!

These tasted fine but as soon as the bars cooled, they turned into cement! I don't know what the problem was, except that they were too hard to bite and we had to throw them out. :(

Very good. These are just like my mom used to make. However, I substituted rice krispies for multi grain cherrios (could use plain also) because that is what I had on hand. And they were still awesome!

I have been making these for years. They are always a no-brainer for bake sales or a potluck.

These are so great! and VEGAN!! My Mom calls them "24 Hour Cookies" because we're lucky if they last that long!

Super tasty, gooey fun! These are really easy and yummy and I like the rice krispies with the peanut butter (I used crunchy P.B.). A sure kid-pleaser. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

My hubby has been begging for these for a week...so, I finally gave in and made them. I messed up and dumped the sugar, syrup and peanut butter in all at once, but just made sure to stir constantly while I heated (to make sure that it didn't burn and the sugar completely dissolved). It worked out fine. I also cut the chocolate topping in half, as hubby doesn't like too thick of a layer of chocolate on top of the treats. I am sure that they will be gone before the day is over. LOL

I used to make this very often when I was in Oman. I have this little friend, Abi, who really craved for these. I used to omit the butterscotch chips because we dont get those in Oman, so I would use just semisweet chocolate chips and make these for her. My dad also enjoys eating these. This sure is a keeper!
