These are delicious. I followed the recipe to a t, with the exception of using a 10 oz bag of mini Reece's Pieces. As others have said, these do not spread. Halfway through the baking time, I lightly flattened them with a spatula, so they would bake more evenly, but still have a beautiful crackly top. These are gorgeous cookies and would make a wonderful bake sale item or gift.

      This recipe is Delicious!
My only problem is the same as another reviewers. I had to flatten mine too they did not bake well in drop cookie form.
      Soooo good though!

These were great! Easy to make and tastey! We made the recipe both ways (1/2 of the batter we added Reese's Pieces and the other half we added 1/2 cup of mini morsels). They were both good but we preferred the ones with the Reese's. I used my cookie scoop and I found you had to 'smush' them down as they didn't spread while baking. Thanks!

Holy Cow! Now this is what I'm takin about! My personal recioe book is being held hostage in Arizona, my cookie baking is sacred to me......I found this recipe after trying another one last night, ( by the way the whole batch went into the trash) I was ready to give up and so glad I didn't, I followed the recipe but hand stired everything, rolled them in sugar, baked for 8 minutes and placed a mini peanut butter cup on top. I ate three of them just to make sure I wasn't dreaming! Thanks so much!!!!!! My Holidays will be better than ever with this one!

Excellent recipe! I added about 1/2 cup extra flour and did not get spreading. The cookies stayed nice and plump! I also used mini Reese's Pieces instead of the regular Reese's Pieces.

I love Southern Living recipes and this one didn't disappoint. The only change that I made was to cut the recipe in half and to use Egg Beaters instead of eggs. Thanks so much for posting!
