    To make these lower in fat I use egg substitute and low fat cream cheese.

    Directions:

      In lg bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt.

      Stir in applesauce, eggs, and vanilla.

      Pour half the batter into a greased 13x9 baking pan.

      In mixing bowl, combine filling ingredients.

      Drop by TBS onto batter.
    6. 6
      Spoon remaining batter over top.
    7. 7
      Cut through batter with a knife to swirl the peanut butter mixture.

      Bake at 325* for 25-30 minutes, or until center is almost set.

      Cool completely.

      Mix frosting ingredients until smooth.

      Frost the cooled brownies.
