A friend from work gave me this recipe. I like the fact that it is no bake cookie.
Make and share this Peanut Butter Cornflake Cookies recipe from Food.com.
- Put corn syrupand sugar in pan cook on medium heat.
- bring to a boil do not over cook or it will get stiff.
- once it starts to boil take pan off heat, add peanut butter and cornflakes.
- stir quickly.
- drop by tablespoon on waxed paper.
- let cool enjoy.
Okay, I am correcting my previous review. They came out this time!
The directions are really unclear and I'm still leaving it at a 3, because you have to bring it to a full rolling boil or it won't set. However, as soon as it reaches a FULL boil, pull it off the heat.
I love these things, this recipe has a lot more peanut butter flavor than others I've tried. Really tasty, just a little particular.
All I can say is "these are addictive"--made them for the first time this Christmas, ended up making 2 extra batches--everyone was "scarfing" them down. Followed the recipe exactly, you have to be quick when stirring wet ingredients to cornflakes, set up very quickly. Love this recipe, easy quick and yummy!
Awesome cookie recipe! These were so easy, and I already had everything on hand. I really like the texture of these. Thanks for a great recipe! :-)
