I am a country girl, living on a small Dairy Farm. My work is keeping house for DH and myself, and it keeps me very busy. We like to go out to eat on weekends, we just recently got a new casino in the region and the Buffet is to die for!But we like to try new places now and then too.We like to travel, Last Fall we went to Hawaii, for close to 3 weeks, and before that we have been to Alaska Twice, once to spend time with our Daughter and her Husband who is in the AF and was stationed there, the next time was on a cruise. We both agree the first trip was the best, because Daughter and Hubby showed us all the out of the way places .This Fall we are going to Nova Scotia, and then on the way home we will go to the Fall Conferance of Highway Superintendents. My DH has been one now for 10+ years. We are enjoying life now that our children are grown and on their own. : ) My all time favorite cookbook is one that a Daughter or ours compiled of all the family favorites, and the ones from CopyKat and Recipezaar that I have tried and loved. My passion is my beautiful and talented and bright Grandchildren, each and everyone perfect in every way The oldest who is 29 and the youngest is 1 1/2 years old.My pet peeve is I don't see enough of my kids and Grandkids any more. A week off with no work or responsibilities?I would like to do some time traveling back to 1973 and tell my Mother that I love her more than I can ever possibly say,and spend every minute with her before she passes on. I know that isn't possible but if it were, I would be first in line. My second choice would be to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune........I know I know, I am silly!!
