  1. I haven't made peanut butter cookies in years and really wanted some. I liked that this recipe had oats but I didn't have chocolate chips on hand so I skipped them. I followed everything else exactly. My only problem is I wish I doubled the recipe! In my house these only lasted 2 days. I will definitely make these again and will double the recipe and maybe freeze some. Thank you!!

  2. I make this recipe no less than twice a month! I, too, make them gluten-free as it was a VERY easy do-over! I make 16 cookies, eight per sheet, bake each sheet 13-14 minutes, then allow them to cool completely on the sheets; then wrap individually in plastic wrap for grab-and-go. I think the college kid might eat these for breakfast!!! The 'other half' calls them bakery cookies and doesn't mind one bit that they're g-free! Win-win!!

  3. Since I need to eat gluten free these were a perfect match for me. Nice soft, tasty cookies without buying any special ingredients. Thanks for posting this jadelabyrinth! Made for Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup.

  4. Delicious! Perfect texture and taste. I did use a few less chocolate chips than the recipe called for, though.

I miss being able to sort through my saved recipes by rating, or even being able to search in what were my cookbooks. ?I miss the forum games/swaps/events. ?I feel sadness for all the time I wasted saving recipes that I can't find and disappointment in the people working at food.com who decided that all these changes were necessary. ?I read in the blog that read-only forums will be back when the technicalities can be worked out. ?But when will I be able to find a recipe in my own recipe box. ?What sense is there in a recipe website that doesn't allow you to search for one of your recipes? ?I used to think that I could start whittling down my collection of paper cookbooks, and hand written note cards because I could find whatever I needed online. ?Perhaps I still can, but not here. ?Thank God I didn't get rid of any of them.
