Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

"This comes from the back of a bag of peanut butter chips. We made these as kids. The recipe was lost over the years. While going through some of my moms' old recipe boxes I came across the original bag of Reeses peanut butter chips with the recipe on the back. They make a soft cookie. A great combo of peanut butter and chocolate. Best enjoyed the day that they are made!!"

• Yields: 3 dozen
• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 2⁄3 cup cocoa
• 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 (10 ounce) bag peanut butter chips

directions

1. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
2. Add flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
3. Mix well.
4. Stir in peanut butter chips.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.

Mom of 4, These are very good...they met the grandchildren standards for yumminess. Made just as stated with a small handful of mini choc chips because I was short on peanut butter chips. Will make again. Thanks for posting...Janet
