Divine Sandy! Chewy, sweet, sticky and peanut buttery.....what more could you want! I think you could actually get away with making it in a 9 x 13" pan just fine, cause this makes a "to the top of the pan" bar in the 9" pan. Delicious..the pan is already empty and there are requests to make again...not soon, but NOW!!

I just finished making this at 12 am tonight for tomorrow. Tomorrow is the start of the Indian festival of Nav Ratri(which will go on over 9 days) as well the Jewish New Year(Rosh Hashannah). I was waiting on pins and needles for this time of the year to make this great treat and finally I did tonight!! This is a wonderful treat what with it being crunchy and munchy. It was ready within minutes and very easy to make. The ingredients are also easily available. I'm planning on giving away small bars of this as food gifts in this week. I guess this will be a great treat to take to a picnic or a potluck as well. I would like to highlight something I learned out of this recipe today: It is VERY IMPORTANT to clean the pots, pans, spoons, etc that you use for making this treat as soon as you have finished with step 7. This is because whatever little corn syrup-sugar-PB mix remains in the saucepan becomes very stubborn and difficult to remove unless the pan is washed rightaway. Don't delay or you will have to scrub away with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Power! ;-)
