A delightfully smooth peanutty beverage.
Make and share this Peanut Butter-Banana Smoothie recipe from Food.com.
- 1 small ripe banana
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk
- 1⁄4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 dash nutmeg (optional)
- Combine everything except nutmeg in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses.
- Sprinkle each with nutmeg.
This was great as is. The only change we made was instead of sugar, we used a natural sweetener. My kids (5, 3 and 1) thought it was a yummy smoothie! =)
I just had this for breakfast... the taste was fine...but it had a rough texture to it...i wouldnt have it again...i like my smoothies smooth.
This was AWESOME! I made it for my one yr old and my 2 yr old this morning for breakfast! They both loved it and ate it right up! Will make again!
