This is a recipe that has been passed down generation to generation from my mother's side. She even dips bacon in it sometimes.
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter (I prefer creamy)
- 1⁄4 cup syrup (I use Aunt Jemima's)
- In small bowl, combine both ingredients until smooth.
- Enjoy by itself, on toast or with bacon. :).
I've always just poured the syrup into the pb 'til I thought it was enough, never measured. Thanks for posting some measurements. I LOVE this!! It''s great on bread, crackers, off the spoon- the possibilities are endless. Syrup gives the pb a richer, delectable flavor. This is wonderful!!
My brothera and sister and I use to eat theis all the time when we were little. It's great. Also try creamy peanut butter on pancakes in steard of butter. it's great too
