Peanut Butter and Apple Sandwich

"I like this recipe because it replaces high sugar jams with something that is healthy and has fiber. It gives a crunch to pb sandwiches. It is something different to try and not feel quilty about."

  1. I LOVE peanut butter on bread and on toast, but today I did not have an apple so I used a nice ripe pear! A great breakfast, quick and easy, and it tastes great! Oh yes, and it must be crunchy for me!!

  2. I actually have done this all the time for years, but thanks for putting it on here! A granny smith apple is wonderful too.

Hi, I haven't been cooking very long, I started to really cook when I got married, which was about 3 years ago. I love to cook and bake. I am in Nursing school and that keeps me pretty busy, but not too busy to cook and bake. I can come home dead tired and still want to bake. I bake about 3-4 times a week sometimes more. I don't like to cook or bake from a can, I like using fresh vegetables and fruit. We have 3 furbabies, that are true joys. We are doglovers and we spoil them rotten.
