I really liked that this was a butter not the regular shortening recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and found the cooking time a bit too long. I also had way more kisses left over even though I made really small balls. Next time I'll try doubling the dough and cooking 6 min instead. Still a good recipe.

This is the first time I've made this cookie although I have had them often. They were easy to make and tasted just great. I am going to try to freeze some and see how that goes. We ran out of kisses (I made a double batch and only had 11oz. of kisses) so we finished the rest off with mini reese's peanut butter cups. Those were so good I am going to use them next time. MMMmmmm!

We have been making these for years on our Christmas cookie trays. They are always well received by all!

These were very good. I had a hard time not overcooking though. Mine only needed 5 min and then 1 min. Thanks for the recipe.

Absolutely incredible! My husband requested these, and said they were better than the ones he remembered growing up! I followed the recipe exactly and I was able to make about 3 and 1/2 dozen cookies. The only thing I changed was I brought the cookies out of the oven, placed the kiss in the center, and then cooled them. They were just fine that way. Thanks for a great treat!

My DD made these this afternoon and said they are great. She found the dough easy to make and work with. She wrapped the dough around a few kisses and buried them. They turned out very well. thanks for a kid-friendly recipe that tastes great as well. Mary L. This is when you wish you weren't on the SBD.

These cookies are great. A version I make uses Hershey's Hugs instead of regular kisses. The white chocolate with the peanut butter is incredible, but dont leave the "hug" in the oven longer than 45 seconds or it will melt all over

Two thumbs up from my family! The dough seemed a little crumbly to me but I was able to work it into balls as directed. I used chunky peanut butter just because that's our preference otherwise I made as directed. Thank you for posting!

Love these cookies! I have been making them for years! I have an easier version that I just entered under the same name with only 5 ingredients! Just waiting for an approval.
