I made this just as written, using fresh peaches. The taste was slightly sweet with only a hint of peach flavor. The texture came out sort of airy and dry. It was best toasted. I think I'd omit the egg next time. Not sure. Thanx for posting!
this was really good bread - i used frozen peaches and olive oil - came out so moist and just a little sweet
I experienced no 'unusual rising' or doughyness with this recipe. The bread was delicious and very moist. Possible that Jewelies used 1.4 TBsps rather than tsps of yeast?
This made a really large loaf of bread. It surprised me how much this loaf rose. Very tasty but for me just slightly doughy bread.
