the coconut in the topping was amazing! it always keeps everyone guessing. I use this on a lot of different pies, but peach is definitely my favorite!

Holy cow! This is pretty amazing! I have made this with peaches and blueberries mixed together, raspberries, and tonight with cranberries and oranges. I have started doubling the topping because it's my favorite part of the dessert! I also tried it as a tart for a thinner version to make it go a little farther with company. :) This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing!

We had this a recent Zaar get-together, baked by the chef herself. What an absolutely delicious pie! I can still taste its lusciousness in my mind! I like that it isn't really sweet as I usually cut the sugar in my baked goods in half. It would be awesome topped with whipped cream or a really good vanilla ice cream (or frozen yogurt for me.) Edited on November 6, 2010 - I finally got around to making this pie myself and it is as delicious as Elly's! I found that I didn't have quite enough peaches so added frozen mango to make up the difference and it was quite delightful.

Pretty yummy! Great idea for the coconut! I doubled the topping and made the pie a deep dish (only pie dish I have). Definitely had to add more flour for the peaches since I had juice dripping down to my elbows, but it worked great! I live in high altitude, so I did cook it for 40 minutes on the second leg--the coconut was going to burn if I went any longer. Awesome recipe!

I too used this topping for Fresh Peach Brown Sugar Pie...I only had one pie crust and was too lazy to make another one so I picked this topping to go on top....Glad I did ...

The coconut streusel topping is delicious!!! I actually used this topping with Fresh Peach Brown Sugar Pie for the filling. What a delectable combination. Served with whipped cream. Crusts were from scratch, using the recipe that accompanies my Cuisinart. Thank you--I will definitely make this again.

Wow! A wonderful pie. I used fresh peaches I picked this morning. Added pecans to the steusel and it was great. I'm trying to lose weight, so was going to limit myself to one piece, but with this one just had to splurge and have another. I highly recommend this recipe.

This was good. I thought it was missing something, but overall really good.

Elly made this for a Zaar get together. I missed out. My wife raved about it, so I hade to make it to see what all the hubbub was about. What a wonderful pie. Not to sweet allowing the natural flavor of the peaches to come through. The hardest part was peeling the peaches.
