Talk about rich! I made this following the directions exactly and they are sinfully delicious. We couldn't wait for them to cool, and they were so awesome warm. They cut WAY better if you do allow them to cool properly, of course. I did make one small substitution, using pecans in place of almonds and they were delicious. A perfect recipe for a bake sale or pot luck.

I made just half the recipe and used an 8x8 pan. This is very delicious and easy to put together. I made my own peach Melba sauce and used that for the raspberry preserves. I used apricot preserves for the peach preserves (on hand). Thanks for a keeper!

It is rich, and sort of decadent. I liked them sort of warm, although it is true that they cut better when they are completely cool. Once they are cooled I like to microwave my piece so I can have it warm again. And the combination of jams are really good, and I wouldn't change a thing.

These are wonderful bars! Made with fresh peach jam from our own homegrown peaches, and a store bought raspberry preserve. D-lish!! One helpful note: they cut easier if you refrigerate for a while.
