      Mmmm, these muffins are super yummy! They are very moist and have a great spongy texture. I made the all peach version and had no problems with the fruit sinking to the bottom. I actually very much liked the idea of layering it into the muffins instead of incorporating it into the batter. I only made a very small amount of topping as I used shaped muffin tins and the muffins would have had the topping on the bottom after turning. THANKS SO MUCH for sharing this winner of a recipe with us, Lvs2Cook! Ill surely make it again (maybe using other fruit as well).

      The flavor combination was quite nice, but I found it hard to put the fruit in a middle layer. Next time I would gently fold it into the entire batter. I also found that I had a LOT of the topping which was very sweet. I think half the amount would have been plenty.
