A beverage recipe found (& then tweaked) in the Southern Living Summer Grilling 2009 cookbook. Very nice for those of us who enjoy sweet fruity iced tea.
- 709.77 ml boiling water
- 2 family-size tea bags
- 78.07 ml granulated sugar
- 958.21 g bottle peach nectar
- Pour the boiling water over the 2 tea bags, then cover & let steep for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sugar, then pour into a pitcher & stir in the peach nectar. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
I've been really into homemade iced tea this summer, and this is another great variation. I did not add sugar, though, as the peach nectar makes its sweet enough! Thanks for sharing. Made for Almost 5 tag game.
DELICIOUS! It's still pretty warm and summery looking here in the south. I'd be happy to ship you some sunshine for, y'know...future winter use. Made for Everyday Is A Holiday.
I drink iced tea all the time, and it nice to find such a tasty variation! Peach and tea go wonderfully together, and eliminate some of the bitterness that I find in plain tea. Thanks for posting a wonderful beverage!
