"This is a "dang-that's-good!" adaptation of Giada De Laurentiis' recipe that will knock your socks off. In fact, I just made a batch and had to walk away to get another mouthful before I finished typing this recipe. It's a sweet and savory appetizer that will please book club members and kids alike. Serve on top of crostini, toasted wheat bread, or whatever you desire!"

  • Add all the ingredients, except for the olive oil and red bell peppers, to a food processor and blend. Add the olive oil last. Taste as you go to adjust ingredients based on your flavor preference.
  • Place on top of crostini or crackers, and top with chopped red bell peppers.
