This is a really nice sauce. I served over spinach and ricotta totellini and it was really very nice. I followed the recipe exactly amd served with parmesan and crusty bread, which made for a great lunch! As an added bonus to this wonderful recipe everything was on hand, and I used leftover ham from Christmas and my own grown fresh basil This sauce has such great flavours and when serving the sauce is so rich looking and so bright and vibrant in colour. It truly looks wonderful on the table! Thanks Jan.

I was looking for a homemade version of the store-bought Parma Rose pkg sauce. I was hesitant to change up our regular version cause this is one of my DH's favorite. Well I'm happy to report that it was well received. I only put 1/2 of the tomatoes & sub'd 1/4 cup yogurt for the cream. Used fresh basil from my garden & found the longer the sauce sat the better to was. We don't normally add peas, this was a very nice addition. Tasty recipe, thanks for sharing.

Dave cooked this for our dinner tonight and it was so good. I had everything on hand so didn't need to go and buy any extra ingredients. For anyone that likes a bit of a bite then you could easily add some chili flakes. Also bacon would work instead of ham. Thanks Jan, it's very wet here and this made an easy, enjoyable dinner.
