  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 34 cup jam (grape/strawberry/or other flavor)
  • 1 egg
  • 12 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 23 cup coconut
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 cup peanuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Unroll dough into two long rectangles and place in ungreased 13x9 inch pan.
  3. Press to form a crust, making sure to seal the perforations.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the jam evenly over baked crust.
  6. In bowl, beat egg.
  7. Add brown sugar and cocoa.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Stir in coconut and chopped nuts.
  10. Spoon over jam and spread gently to cover.
  11. Bake for 18-23 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  12. Cool and cut into bars.
