Ham-wrapped bananas to be served at room temperature. Who would have thought ham and bananas but the French!
- 4 bananas
- 4 slices ham
- 6 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
- 1⁄2 cup double cream
- salt and pepper
- Peel bananas and sprinkle generously with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Wrap each banana in a slice of ham and place in a greased, oven-proof dish. Pour cream over all and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve cold (but not refrigerated).
